The Guild is a fellowship whose aim is to unite the women and girls of the Church in the dedication of their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, for His Kingdom through worship, fellowship and service.

About Woman’s Guild
The Woman’s Guild is a fellowship of women and girls in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa whose main objective is to bring together women and girls of the Church in the dedication of their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, for His Kingdom through worship, fellowship and service..
The On-Line dictionary describes the term ‘Guild’ as an association of persons of the same trade or pursuits, formed to protect mutual interests and maintain standards. Another version describes ‘Guild’ as a society of persons whose main goal is helping one another, forwarding common interests e.g. trade, social welfare, etc.

Membership
For admission, membership of the Guild is open to all committed Christian women and girls between 20-55 years old who are active communicant members of the Church, are not of questionable character, and who accept to abide by this constitution.
Those above 55 are free to join as ‘friends of the Woman’s Guild’ but cannot be commissioned.
Roles Of Woman’s Guild
- Preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and winning souls for Christ.
- Visit the sick, the orphans and the elderly in the homes for the aged.
- Giving food and clothing to street children.
- Contributing to the needs of the poor around them.
- Prayer and fellowship meetings amongst themselves where they educate one another and contribute to spiritual growth of the women.
- Working together with other church groups for church growth.
- Organizing courses for women, youth and other groups
